Aim & Scope

Journal of Sustainable Digital Futures (JSDF) is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality theoretical and empirical research at the intersection of sustainability and digital transformation. The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for original contributions that explore how digital technologies, innovation, and sustainable development practices are reshaping contemporary economies, societies, and institutions.

JSDF welcomes scholarly articles on a wide spectrum of topics including, but not limited to, green economy, ESG frameworks, circular economy, sustainable finance, digital governance, smart technologies, digital inclusion, AI and sustainability, green innovation, energy transition, and environmental policy. The journal particularly encourages submissions that offer fresh insights into how digital futures can be designed to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The language of publication is English, and the journal is published biannually, in June and December. All stages of the editorial and publishing process are conducted through the journal's independent online platform, which ensures a streamlined and author-friendly experience.

A double-blind peer review system is applied, with all submissions reviewed by at least two anonymous experts. To uphold academic integrity and ensure originality, each manuscript is subjected to a plagiarism check using Turnitin prior to peer review.

Accepted papers are assigned a DOI number and published online in full text with open access. Established in 2025, Journal of Sustainable Digital Futures charges no publication or submission fees, and is committed to providing unrestricted access to scholarly knowledge for both authors and readers.
