In this context, JSDF journal's publication ethics, open access policy, and publication process activities are governed by the guidelines and policies on open access published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
The Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing outline guidelines for ethical and transparent scholarly publishing. Key principles include clear website information, copyright and licensing policies, publication ethics, peer review processes, access details, ownership transparency, editorial team information, and business practices. The guidelines emphasise the importance of integrity, accessibility, and inclusivity in scholarly publishing. This guidelines developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA), and World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).
If situations such as the manipulation, distortion and use of fabricated data used in the articles are detected, this situation will be reported to the institution where the article author works, and the article will be rejected. Our journal has the right to request the output files of the analysis results from the authors according to the feedback given by the editor and/or the referees.
